What are Scheduled Jobs?

Scheduled Jobs are automation utilities that enhance the functionality of Titan. These utilities can be scheduled to run automatically at regular intervals, or manually as needed.

What types of Schedule Jobs are included with Titan?

Titan includes the following job types:

Activate Pending Documents
This job activates documents that have start dates configured after their final approval date. Once activated these documents are live on the site.
 
Database Cleanup
This job cleans old versions and old log entries from the database.
 
DocMgmt File Sweeper
This job sweeps out the DocMgmt directory structure, deleting files that are no longer referenced in a File Pile.
 
dtSearch Disk Refresh
This job is used to update the dtSearch indexer with the latest custom block and DLL code. The Disk Refresh job should be run after you install a new Block, add a new XSL for an existing block, or make changes to a Data Template.
 
dtSearch Index
This job updates the content of dtSearch indexes for providing search results on a site.
 
Global Search and Replace
This job performs replace operations for Global Search & Replace. Search & Replace allows you to search through your content, find content to change and replace in multiple areas.
 
Import Files Task
This job imports files into File Pile folders.
 
Rebuild Image Sizes
This job creates various image sizes for images stored within a File Pile. Used after changing image sizes sets.
 
Rebuild Where Used Data
This job creates and updates a content index used to report where files are used in the system.
 
Refresh Display Nav
This job refreshes the navigation tree for the display.
 
Status Emailer
This job sends status emails regarding the workflow states of content items.
 
User Admin Bulk Emailer
This job performs background emailing for the User Management screen which allows you to create and send emails to your users.
