All of Our License Fees Are One-Time Only

We won’t charge you a recurring or annual license fee. Choose from a variety of maintenance and support options to ensure an appropriate level of support and upkeep based on your individual needs.

Northwoods, the primary developer and support partner for Titan CMS, provides shared and dedicated Azure-based hosting options with a variety of performance and reliability options. Alternatively, Titan CMS can be hosted on-premise for organizations that prefer to self-host, which is especially useful if your business must meet specific compliance or regulatory requirements.

Our one-time Titan CMS license fee gives you the flexibility to host or move your site to any host at any time, so you’re never locked into just one solution. Whatever your hosting needs, we’ll work with you to determine the best approach.

Northwoods-Managed Hosting

As a Microsoft Partner, Northwoods offers numerous Azure-based hosting options. Leveraging Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) offerings, we are able to provide cloud hosting options - big and small. Our shared hosting environment provides excellent performance and reliability appropriate for most websites. For mission-critical sites where high availability, reliability and performance are a must, Northwoods-managed dedicated Azure hosting options are available.

The value of managed hosting with Northwoods is that you never have to worry. We do the setup, configuration and maintenance for you. Our hosting environments are built specifically for Titan CMS, ensuring quality and consistency. And in the unlikely event that something goes wrong, Northwoods is there to handle it.


If you need to meet specific compliance requirements or simply prefer your CMS be hosted in an environment managed by your own team, Titan CMS supports a variety of self-hosting configurations based on the following needs: 

High Availability, Mission Critical - Leverage multiple servers to provide fault-tolerant redundancy, high availability, and maximize performance with load balanced and disaster recovery configurations.

Compliance - Organizations with websites subject to regulatory constraints (PCI, SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, etc.) invest significantly in infrastructure and personnel to ensure compliance. Hosting in a shared environment or with a cloud SaaS-based solution can result in additional cost and compliance burden that can be avoided by self-hosting, managed by personnel who already meet compliance requirements.

Enterprise Architecture - For organizations that require website integration with existing back-office applications and data warehousing solutions, hosting within your own ecosystem can offer greater simplicity and allow for secure information sharing between systems.

DIY - Titan CMS is highly extensible and gives customers the ability to develop their own Add-Ins, customize themes, and build custom applications through Titan CMS data management technology. Self-hosting also provides the flexibility required to support internal DevOps processes. 

The minimum software requirements for hosting Titan CMS are:

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2019 or 2022
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2019 or 2022 (any edition)
  • Microsoft IIS 10
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8

Total Care helps streamline billing. And, you’ll never have to worry about keeping your software up-to-date or paying for a separate upgrade. With Total Care, one annual upgrade is included!

The Titan CMS Help Desk is available Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. CT, with the exception of Federal holidays. If for some reason you are transferred to voice mail, please leave a message and a member of our support team will return your call as quickly as possible.

Support Hour Block

If you need support on an intermittent basis, or just want to ensure you have hours available should unexpected issues arise, purchasing a block of support hours is a great and cost-effective solution.

  • Support hours can be used for any service Northwoods offers, including design, development, technical support, digital strategy, digital marketing, brand strategy, consulting, and more.
  • The more support hours you purchase, the more you can save. Discounts on hourly rates are provided at various increments.
Monthly Support Retainer

For recurring support needs, or organizations that are planning on more complex, ongoing projects, a retainer is a great solution. Benefits include:

  • You determine how many hours you’d like to use each month and for how many months. (Minimum of 10 hours/month for 3 months is required.)
  • You’ll receive the highest priority of response when you have a service need.
  • Use your retainer hours for any of Northwoods services, including design, development, technical support, digital strategy, digital marketing, brand strategy, consulting, and more.
  • Access to a dedicated point of contact for all of your requests.

Personalized training is provided prior to your website or project launch. Your project manager or account director will ensure you’re 100% comfortable with Titan CMS. Training is provided either in-person, on-site at Northwoods or your company, or virtually.

Titan CMS Users Group (TUG)

Once you become a client, you’ll be invited to attend our Titan CMS Users Group (TUG). TUG meets semi-annually (virtually during COVID-19 restrictions) to discuss features and future enhancements, share experiences, and learn from other Titan CMS users. A collaboration that’s unique in the content management space, TUG also gives Titan CMS users the opportunity to help set development priorities. It’s important to us to create dedicated time to learn from our customers, and vice versa!
