Create a New User By Cloning Permissions

This article will walk you through the steps for creating a new Titan Workstation user by closing the permissions of an existing user. You can also create a new user from scratch.

  1. Navigate to the Users module via the Modules Selector in the top-left of the screen.
  2. Click into the 'Last Name' or 'All Logins' tabs and select the user you would like to clone. Click 'Create'.
  3. Add a username and a temporary password for the new user. Ensure you check the 'Clone User' box and then click 'Done'.
  4. Select the cloned user and click on the 'Profile' tab in the app ribbon.
  5. Enter the basic demographic information for the newly cloned user.
  6. Navigate to the Security Tab in the App Ribbon. Slect 'More -> Security'.
  7. Confirm that all cloned security groups are correct for the new user – if needed, modify the security groups to match the needs of the new user.
  8. Click 'Save'.
