Titan Content Management / Portal is built using Microsoft .Net 4.5.2 and Microsoft SQL (Express through Enterprise).
Dedicated vs. Shared Servers
Titan peacefully co-exists with other applications on a shared server. If you expect a lot of traffic, a dedicated server is suggested. If you plan to host Titan internally on your company's existing hardware, you are free to use hosting server(s) for any other purpose. Of course, dedicated servers are always best, but it is not a requirement.
- Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 or 2008 R2, 64-bit edition only
- Microsoft SQL 2014 or 2008 R2, 64-bit
- Microsoft IIS 8.5, 8.0, 7.5 or 7.0
- Microsoft .Net 4.5.2
- Cloud Options: Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and others compatible with Microsoft Server Software
Titan's Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) supports separating web, application, and database services into separate environments, and combining them into one, two, or three server configurations.
Load Balancing, Redundancy, and Server Farms
We fully support Load Balanced environments and Server Farms for mission critical websites. We also support mirror servers, backup / standby servers, and other configurations intended to provide fault tolerant redundancy. We also support Microsoft SQL clusters. While cluster services can be used for the Web and Application layer, we recommend using hardware load balancing to provide the best performance and reliability.
We fully support Cloud Hosting on all Azure platform options (except for those offering less than 8G of RAM and two processors.)
